The domestic two-wheeled vehicle market has recently grown significantly due to the coronavirus. However, despite the rapid growth of the two-wheeled vehicle market, electric two-wheeled vehicles have been neglected by those in the delivery industry. The reason is that the battery capacity was low and the driving range was insufficient for delivery.
Due to the structure of electric two-wheeled vehicles (lack of space to install multiple converter devices to prevent overcurrent during fast charging), fast charging is not possible, so slow charging must be used, which has the disadvantage of taking a long time to charge. In order to increase the driving range, the battery capacity must be increased, but this has the disadvantage of increasing weight and has structural limitations in battery mounting space.
What solves these shortcomings is the battery exchange electric two-wheeled vehicle using a battery swapping station (BSS).
